Blog posts are a great way to get recognized within your community and share your voice. Here are the top 10 reasons you should love writing blog posts.

Anyone can make one:
For better or worse, anyone can write a blog post about anything they want. Everyone has a voice and the best voices will rise to the top.

The writer can show their personality:
In blog posts, the writer has more leeway to add in their voice and personality than other types of writing.

Blogs are a great form of mass communication:
You can help people, learn new things, entertain your audience-the possibilities are endless and amazing. Blogging opens up all of these to a very wide audience.

You can make money:

Get the right blog going and you can make a lot of money through advertising and sponsored posts.

It allows people to craft better thoughts:
Instead of reading haphazard, uneducated Facebook statuses, it's much better to see people's thought process in a well-written blog post.

You can establish a community:
Blogging allows you to connect with other individuals who share the same interests. Sharing ideas and opinions within your community helps establish yourself as a thought leader.

Good for SEO:
Keeping content on your site fresh and relevant, you can use your blog to boost the search engine ranking (SEO) of your site and your business.

It brings people back to your site:

If your blog is strong enough and updated regularly, people will come back looking for more and bring traffic back to your site as well.

It's free:
It costs you a grand total of zero dollars to post to the blog, so if you have something to say, there's nothing to stop you.

You can establish yourself as a thought leader:

A blog is a great place for your original thoughts, and it can be a wonderful way to show off your individuality. If people like your ideas, you can become a thought leader in your industry!

What else do you love about blogs? Let me know!

We don’t have forever to do the things that we have been called to do. We don’t have forever to be on the level that we are currently are. Life and creation has been designed for us in such a way that nothing has been designed to remain in the same place forever. Parents , we don’t have forever to raise our children and to in-still in them the value that we believe is important for them in life. We don’t have forever to serve in the capacity we are right now, regardless of how difficult it might be or how pleasant the experience might be. Friends , we don’t have forever to have the positive influence on the people around us. If someone has hurt us, we don’t have forever to think about whether to forgive them or not; and if we have hurt someone, we don’t have forever to amend that relationship. Maybe somebody here needs to pick up the phone today and call someone and forgive them for the hurt they caused, because indeed we don’t have forever .

Well maybe the right question to ask is, “ do you know how much time it takes just to do the basic and mundane routines of life e.g. sleeping, travelling, working and more ? “The answer to this question will give us a great insight into the answer to the first question that we ask ourselves almost every day “ where has the time gone ?” To help us with this, let us do a simple calculation, let us assume that you spend an average of 6 to 7 hours a day sleeping (well, I know that many of us sleep based on the different gifting that we have, some people should sleep for 6, 7 or even 8 or 9 hours a day or else they will not be in the right frame of mind. Whereas some people, of course the "strange ones" can survive on 4 to 5 hours a day). But let us assume you spend 6 to 7 hours a day sleeping, during a week that is about 42 to 49 hours a week, so let us say an average of 45 hours. What about work? If you work about 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, that is about 40 hrs a week. Then travel. If you spend about an hour each way to work, that is about 10 hours a week, not including weekends. Then for the bare essentials of life, i.e. getting dressed, cooking, catching your breath when you get back from work, that is usually about 15 hours. On average, for all of the above, you would have spent 110 hours a week.
